The hype of PUBG Mobile never seems to settle down. A game that came out almost a decade ago is still known as one of the best battle royale games. The reason? The developer never sleeps. We have seen PUBG Mobile collaborating with all the major brands and celebrities. Lamborghini, Yamaha, Squid Games, Godzilla, and many more IPs have done a successful collab with PUBG Mobile.
But what happens with collaborations?

Well, collaborations are a vital part of engaging your existing player base and getting the attention of new players to the game. I believe this is one of the key factors why PUBG Mobile has survived until now. However, this element is not taken seriously by Delta Force Mobile.
After its launch in the Summer of 2025, there have been limited events and collaborations. To be honest, the large major event that caught my attention was with Alan Walker in July. The game needs many more events and collaborations with pop-culture sensations.
How to carry out a successful collaboration?
For starters, a collaboration should happen with a trending IP. For example, a web series called Squid Game was going viral a few months ago. It would have been a great strategy for the game the collaborate with them.
Once a trending IP is selected to collaborate, the game must give justice by offering freebies to the layer base. For example, there can be a bunch of themed free goodies that players can get with a daily sign-in. While there could also be premium themed items.
Another notable way to do a great collaboration is to add small themed elements in game maps. PUBG Mobile tends to do it a lot this way, and it has been a successful strategy so far.
The strategy of running an online game now totally depends on how much attention the developer can get from the players. Hence, having events and collaborations becomes a vital part of being successful in getting the player base engaged.
